We are quite honored to invite you to the “HARMONIOUS SOCIETY, CIVIL SOCIETY AND THE MEDIA” International symposium, which will be held 20-21 October 2007, Beijing, at Beijing Xinhai Jinjiang Hotel.

It’s a joint conference organized by the Chinese Association of Communication (CAC) and the International Communication Association (ICA), facilitated by the China Media Centre at the University of Westminster and undertook by National Centre for Radio and Television Studies at Communication University of China.

Please note the following instructions in preparing to attend the conference:

1．Non-local participants need to reserve the plane tickets and hotel room themselves. Please find the hotel information in the attached file.

2．Registration fee:

    *Participants from China (except Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan): 600 Yuan/person

    *Student participants from China (except Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan): 300 Yuan/person

    *Participants from other countries and regions: $100/person

    *Student participants from other countries and regions: $50/person

Please register at the conference entrance on October 20, 2007. We will provide you the printed conference manual and other materials, lunches, coffee breaks and other services.
