Google's Android Market Blocked in China

Google is facing additional problems in China after access to its Android Market was blocked by the authorities in various parts of the country.

A website that tracks whether a service is available in five major provinces in the country, has confirmed that there is a blockage of the market.android.com domain name.

There are alternative local Android apps stores though, so although users will still be able to get content, they wont be able to do so via the official Google service. There is also concern that some Chinese app stores tend to be riddled with virus and malware infected apps.
