AT&T launched its U-verse TV and U-verse Internet services in Brenham, Texas, earlier this week. The telco will challenge incumbent cable operator Suddenlink Communications in Brenham.

While Verizon has halted new deployments for its FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services, AT&T continues to hit the accelerator on U-verse expansion. AT&T signed 176,000 new U-verse TV customers during the third quarter, growing its subscriber base to 3.6 million.
