UK based Wi-Fi network, The Cloud has agreed a deal to deploy wireless internet access at Phones 4u retail stores.

Under the terms of the partnership The Cloud's Wi-fi will be installed at all of Phones 4u's retail outlets across the UK, increasing The Cloud's retail footprint by 10%. The Wi-Fi will be freely available to Phones 4u customers in store.

The Wi-Fi will allow Phones 4u customers to access the internet while the store team can use it to demo live web surfing when selling internet-enabled smartphones from its smartphone range.

Vince Russell, managing director of The Cloud, said: "Phones 4u is one of the biggest presences on British high streets so is a great addition to our list of partners. Retailers increasingly understand that consumers expect quick and reliable internet access to be available wherever they go, which is exactly what Wi-Fi provides."

In total The Cloud has over 5,000 hotspots across the UK.
