Google properties are the most popular websites with mobile users although Facebook audiences are easily more engaged, according to research from ComScore and the GSMA.
However, the statistics, based on actual traffic data from each of the UK’s leading mobile networks, showed that Facebook is three times as popular in terms of engagement.The findings, sourced from the pair’s Mobile Media Metrics (MMM) study, demonstrated that unique mobile visitors to Google sites totalled 12.8m in September, while Facebook’s was 9.6m.
