3 Hong Kong, the mobile telecoms and residential fixed-line operator of Hutchison Telecommunications today announced that it has partnered with Japan's NTT DoCoMo to establish a new mobile service platform -- "Planet 3 Widget", enabling Android and Symbian users to receive free updates on the latest news, daily information and special offers at all times, without having to browse the Internet or visit any market stores.

No matter where the users are, the updates will automatically and instantly be delivered to their Android or Symbian smartphones.

The information to be updated automatically and on display via "Planet 3 Widget" includes 3 Hong Kong's hot offers and the latest service promotion; local, international and financial news, together with updates on technology, dining and lifestyle, keeping customers abreast of the world anytime, anywhere while on the go.
